Cybersecurity Analyst

About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Aitium Inc, you'll protect our clients' digital assets by conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and designing robust security architectures. You'll work at the intersection of threat intelligence, compliance, and engineering — helping enterprises embed security-by-design into their operations and technology initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests for enterprise clients
• Design and implement Zero Trust architectures and network segmentation strategies
• Configure and manage SIEM and SOAR platforms to detect and respond to threats in real-time
• Lead incident response engagements — triage, containment, remediation, and post-incident review
• Guide clients through compliance frameworks including SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001
• Produce executive-level risk reports and technical remediation recommendations
• Evaluate third-party security tools and vendors on behalf of clients

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar)
• Proven penetration testing skills — web, network, and cloud environments
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles and their implementation
• Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST, PCI-DSS)
• Industry certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent
• Strong written communication — you'll author client-facing security reports regularly

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security in CI/CD pipelines
• Red team or adversarial simulation experience
• Background in healthcare or financial services security
